I got hyped for it and fell for the survival island pitch, like many before me did for Rust and similar.

Actually maybe I should check what it is up to because I left it for a year after realising that it was just a grindy mess.

Feeding dinosuars in real-time over eight hours is just fucked and that was a hard turn off. Know grown ass men who missed days of work to feed their dinos and those are all dead now.

I hopped on a cheat server and gave myself infite resources and spoiled the game that way, went and beat the final boss... they didn't really code beyond that and the whole thing was a mess.

I liked Ark and wanted to like Conan, but they were too busy fixing same old shit over and over and didn't really add anything new.

ARK was a bit fun at the start, everyone was at the same lvls and it was not as tedious to play.

Nowadays it's impossible to get into, everyone is lvl +100 and have autistic strong bases. There's way too many dinos/creatures out there and annoying shit like frogs, mosquito, snakes only makes it tedious to play.
They've made it too punishing for new players to play
