If it's Marvel/DC type of capeshit that's turned you away from any and all superhero stories, don't worry, HeroAca is still very notably shonen. It's not like I'm the biggest fan of superheroes, but I love the manga anyways, same how I also love One Piece despite never really digging anything else related to pirates and Hajime no Ippo is my jam despite the fact that real boxing fucking bores me.
