As a fan of both, odyssey doesnt look that good really. It looks like something rare made from the n64, like donkey kong 64. You just run around aimlessly picking up useless trinkets and solving basic bitch "puzzles". Replaying sonic and crash makes me realize how much better linear games with hard obstacles are. The last mario i enjoyed was galaxy 2.

Yeah to buy a hat so something else opens up. The moons look so easy to get. Think of it this way...in the demo they deliberately took their time and padded out the stream. When playing who gives a shit about marios dancing or the grass finally looking like a launch 360 game. That 25 minute demo will be done in 10 by someone just playing the game normally. Suddenly you have 5 moons, you pause and look at the moon count for the level, its 10-12. Maybe ive just finally outgrown mario games because the last few years of mario have been worse than sonic or crashs lowest lows

Its very true...the 3D series are some of the most mind numbingly boring games i have ever played. Zero entertainment value, that is a complete fail for a game. Good to know theres 30-50 moons, i hope some are hard to get rather than being all brain dead like what has been shown so far .
