I only ever fight if I need to. If a bandit is harrassing me, I'll just cast calm on them and walk away. If I'm dungeon plundering, I cast healing and courage spells on Belrand, my follower of choice, maybe do a little damage on the side with my mace.

I'm going for a bard setup, hence the lute and the clothes.
