Laura is shit. Abel is at least visually not horrible and mechanically he is fun too. He is probably the least offensive newcomer in years. Ed is also shit. He would have been great if he remained a skinny shota with psychic powers, but now he just blends in with the rest of the cast as some ugly roided up freak. With the way capcom's been acting lately, I don't think they could add any legacy characters without fucking up in some huge way.

The last returning favourite was Akuma, and they've pretty much thrown the guy in a wheelchair. Fireballs don't go full screen, he's a low health character but now without a meterless reversal, KKZ doesn't hit on both sides anymore, his teleport doesn't go anywhere compared to previous games, and now he looks like a fucking potato lion.

Why the fuck does it cost $5 to make a character look acceptable? What reason was there to change him this much in the first place?

If they included Sagat, I'd bet they'd do something retarded like locking his fireball behind v-trigger. SFV does not take kindly to the idea of zoning, just look at Ryu.
