There's no defending this. Just connect your TV's audio to your PC's line in, and use Discord. That way you get both game audio and chat audio through one audio output, and you are using a decent voice chat service.

In Splatoon 1, I complained about not being able to play with my friends even though they were in the same lobby as me, I complained about how tedious and stupid it was to make the player return to the fucking hub to switch weapons. Everybody else told me "nah it's okay, you're just a fucking troll". But no, it's fucking garbage QoL level interface. And now this shit is back in Splatoon 2, and people slowly start to admit it's not so great, but noone want to say it too loud.

Well first of all, the headset comes with a 2.5m extension cable which isn't being used in that pic and is intended to be used between the squid mixer and the Switch when docked.
Second, the cable on that headset is probably a standard lenght of 4 feet or so for the purpose of being used on its own. Even the mic is removable for people who just want to use it for audio.

Not really. Skyrim at its core is a very decent game. Its main problem is it offers a lot in a very shallow way while lacking polish in some ways.

Knack can't even say that because at its core, it was just a tech demo to show off numerous amounts of objects being rendered and thrown about. That's the whole reason the game exists. It's a Wii Boxing game pretending to be Punch Out.
