I always thought this guy was fucking lazy doing the freeman's mind episodes. Then he explained all the bullshit he had to do to record and produce decent quality episodes.
Its a miracle he finished it, desu

>>
>>384545695
The main reason for it is due to him living in Poland.

He also goes through a rather silly process to do it with demo recording. There are far simpler and more effective ways to record gameplay, especially now that he's doing Half-Life 2.
>>
>>384543316
Probably Carnevil, but Polaris Snowcross and Test Drive III are good.
>>

Demo recording is the most consistent and efficient way to do the episodes. While the method he uses to get those into a video file is not, it is the method that produces the highest video quality

all the effort he puts into the Freeman's minds is nothing short of insane.

I wouldn't be so sure, from the info I've gathered from his monthly streams we might be able to expect a release by 2018 or 2019. He's been working on it for a while now, and he really doesn't take breaks.

Here is a hard question, what is your least favorite Game Dungeon episode?
>>
>>384551303
500 combinations isn't that much to cycle through. I mean egregiously awful for a released product, but shouldn't take you longer than half an hour to go through them all.

Point N Clicks are a bad example of difficulty because mathematically speaking, you can brute force your way through them, even if it does mean restarting the game a couple of times. It's just not fun.

Neither is the genre itself. Waste of CDs.

Look at that, your stupid fucking non-train of logic just signaled the start of shitposting. That's how stupid your post was, it was just a black hole that it just sucked all the retardation into the thread.

I think it's more so the software he was using for animation, the process itself is pretty tedious as well apparently. As someone whom does editing and other tedious shit such as this, I can relate. I think Xanadu Next would be an interesting game for him to try, as it's pretty different from overhead action dungeon-crawlers like Revenant but not too close to Diablo or more recent games. It's also got a lot of cool worldbuilding, implications, and ways to play, and he'd be able to learn and talk about Japanese Windows games. He'd really clue in to the stranger parts of the game world, and that final dungeon would give him quite the adventure worth unraveling.

Anyone who reads this, please start suggesting this to him during stream chats. I can't get his attention alone!

I'd honestly liken them to being within the same "genre" of video as game dungeon almost, but he doesn't have as much of an impressionable personality like ross does, it's more low key and actual review style reviews rather than "This is the crazy experience I had with this obscure, weird game."

Probably Human Revolution or Rama. I don't particularly like HR but Ross's critique and analysis on how humans behave in that game was pretty hard to sit through. Really liked the other two Deus Ex videos though.

Rama was the first episode where I just felt so bored that I had to take a break and finish it later.
