Sorry man but for me it hits the spot. I replay Mario games all the time so the difference between the linear and nonlinear entries is basically lost on me. I don't care about story or world building or any of that junk. 3D World is just pure BING BING WAHOO the whole way thru and that's exactly how I like it. It's even better when you're competing with a friend to get the high score in co op.

Where in my post did I praise 64 and Sunshine faggot? Are you flustered?

Mario 64 was utter shit. How the fuck anyone enjoyed that game is baffling. Mario was never meant to be open world/explore, it was about being a platformer, on a set course. At least Galaxy/3D series understood this and made the courses set paths. I'd rather play through levels that introduce new challenges through the level than have to explore to find the challenge.

This is one of the worst for sure. It isn't a bad game, but it is one of the few that doesn't hold up to Mario standards. Good music and comfy though.

Sunshine handles like a dream compared to 64. Compared to every other 3D Mario actually. Playing through Galaxy 2 for the first time and I'm kind of dissapointed Mario isn't as fast as he was in Sunshine.

Good taste. I wasn't interested in the game when it came out, but picked it up a year or two later and it's pretty darn good.
