Uncharted 4 was shit

I enjoyed it. Although they sold it as a darker game when in reality it was probably one of the more light hearted ones.

Naughty Dog's problem is they're obsessed with breaking up gameplay elements with faux gameplay (pushing ladders/box, swimming, walking pt a to pt b with nothing but dialogue happening, climbing, etc.)

Just go back to Last of Us and trully take in how much of the game is just walking between gameplay (and how much of that gameplay is just crouch walking through).

I wouldn't say it was pandering, but it was definitely bad writing. If the villain (or sub-villain) defeats the protagonist at certain points, that's ok. It just makes it more satisfying when you finally catch up to them and kick their ass.

But that didn't happen with Nadine, and thus it was a buildup with no satisfying conclusion.

Even Quiet's tacticool XOF uniform is worth cosplaying. Truly the best of both worlds.

It's a toss up between 2 and 4 for the best. Uncharted 4 actually makes improvements in pretty much every way that people wanted from 3, the problem is that there's a chunk in the game that just drags on (pretty much the whole Sam introduction) for what feels like a while. Uncharted 2 is a pretty perfectly paced game on the otherhand. I give 4 the tie breaker because it's really the only Uncharted game that “wowed” me despite the flaws

For me it's 4>2>3>GA>1

The Last of Us is better than all of them

Well, in the second one, there's that part where you have to climb to a statue in a temple, it's full of traps and bits where you require to time your jumps, i didn't found it that "automatic", i actually could felt the sense of danger.

These games just have really nice cutscenes and graphics, so its ripe for movie shitposting. The games were getting popular around the time stuff like MGS4 and Heavy Rain were coming out, and with them all being PS3 exclusives Uncharted was bundled up with them. If you want a game that has story up the ass something like those other two would be more appropriate.

Some of the "movie" parts with Sam were great, like looking at history in the mansion & sitting down with him in the village

You can tell the devs real passion was in the story telling, the gameplay wasn't bad though, had some fun moments

One of the main plot threads in 3, and something that's also hinted at in 2 is nate's unhealthy obsession with finding treasure no matter the danger, and how it's not worth the risk it poses to the rest of his life. The plot of 4 focuses on Nate rescuing his brother from the same obsession. The happy retirement we see in 4 tells the player that nate was finally able to overcome the character flaw he's struggled with throughout most of the series.
