That being said DDO actually IS DD2. Has a full fledged story mode with cut scenes and voice acting. You can literally solo the entire game with your pawns if you wanted to, you just now have the option of playing with other people. I had a blast with DDO when it first came out and if it ever gets a localization announcement I would be very happy.

Nah, after what happened with Valkyria Chronicles you can bet your ass I won't be rebuying some game from last gen on the off-chance that the devs make a sequel that's not shit.

Morrowind is the only TES game worth a fucking shit in terms of world building and it's because of the limited fast travel that you'd even know it. I play 1080p 60fps on my TV with the steamlink (can't stream higher) and even that makes the PS4 port look pathetic. I don't know why anyone would be hyped for this unless they put back in the Berserk armors and gave Warriors six skill slots. So far no mod for pc has managed to give warriors six skills, only the ability to wield a different weapon like a bow or shield alongside their greatsword.

Seriously watch the new monster hunter trailer. The combat animations should look very familiar if you're a fan of the series. Dragons Dogma was literally an experiment for them to see how fans would react to the combat. The good feedback from fans on combat was all they needed.

Japanese companies test out their game concepts before hand in smaller new IP's before re releasing and rebranding in bigger AAA games.
