There's ALREADY a parental control app. Literally all they had to do was make voice chat integrated into the console but turned off by default and require the parental control app to toggle.

That aside, it's 2017. Fucking 3 year olds have a smart device nowadays, not even exaggerating. If a household is wealthy enough to own a Switch, the kids almost certainly have smart devices to access.
