There are only minor diferences
- the DS version has a sushi minigame, the GBA version has a bumpercar game instead.

- DS version has a sidequest where you have to discover an island where you can clone prehistoric animals and have them as pets, in the GBA version you can only have Cats and Dogs and said sidequest doesnt exist.

- DS version has a few more NPCs, but they aren't relevant to the story.

- DS version only has 2 save slots, while the GBA has like 6. Also the GBA version has a language option, the DS ver is english only.
