It sells itself on brand alone, honestly. There is no need to market Kingdom Hearts at this point. When KH3 has a real release date and goes gold then we will likely see a marketing blitzkrieg. But because the game is still so unfinished and so much is subject to change, they are making him keep quiet.

Look at his comments about DLC for KH3, he gives the weirdest response about how he told his dev team to like, "prepare for it", but not that it would actually "happen", just to know that maybe at some point they needed to leave a method in the code to push in further content after.

Wrong. Disney owns all of the OC in Kingdom Hearts. Characters, worlds, weapons, enemies, etc. Only stuff that Square made before its use in Kingdom Hearts (Final Fantasy, TWEWY) are owned by them. Essentially, Disney owns Kingdom Hearts, has hired Square to develop the games, and has given Square the go-ahead to throw in things they own as they wish.

Sephiroth became even cooler BECAUSE of his Kingdom Hearts incarnations giving him cool movesets never seen before. His design was drastically improved in Kingdom Hearts 2, but the fight was easier. I say bring him back, but try to make him as annoying and difficult as possible. I feel like it's a tradition to fight him in KH at this point, right? He was the first real "wow!" secret boss in the series. They don't even have to tie him to a sidequest or anything, just a straight up fight like in KH1.
