I've always played on pad, movement feels a lot mor precise than stick.
That said, I mostly play anime fighters which are pretty pad-friendly.

I have to admit that after using stick for a while I think it's easier to learn games on it than with a controller. Like, I was struggling with some combo challenges on GG Rev 2 but then got a stick and could do them in a few tries. The square chamber on the stick helps a lot on cleaning up your motions while on pad you sometimes press forwad or back real quick and the charter either jumps or crouches. That shit doesn't happen on stick, which makes me wonder why some people waste money on modding their sticks with octo chambers only to create the same issues you'd have on a pad.

I'd like a stick but I couldn't justify the price of one over how little I might end up actually using it.
