It was okay but i stopped playing it when old Doom had mods based on it.

It's good enough. Comparable to the new X-Coms. It modernizes it, but still sticks mostly to the core idea of the original. It doesn't take the name, then completely miss the point like Fallout, Syndicate, or Thief.

Nice. The multiplayer has been pretty fun since they added the Deathmatch modes, this should be nice.

Thats not a bad thing. People shouldn't buy multiplayer map packs. The people who waited are rewarded.

Although id should really try promoting queef champions more since they want that to be their main multiplayer game.

All sense of tension, meaningful level design, and pacing go out the window when the game comes down to "walk from easily identifiable arena room to easily identifiable arena room and look for collectibles inbetween"

If I wanted to play a worse version of serious sam, I would play Serious Sam 2.

Playing maxed at a solid 120fps feels good with my 1070 the game is ok the guns feel great but i prefer 3 i am about 20/30% through noom

it's [COMBAT MODE] and then several minutes of looking for collectibles and then [COMBAT MODE] again
the game isn't even that difficult

nuDoom was the best Serious Sam game since Second Encounter

I didn't finish it because it was too repetitive. BUT:
Pros:
Music
Plenty of Guns
High Speed Shooting is Good
Visuals give a sense of proportion and make Hell come to life
Enemies are well designed

Cons:
Rinse and Repeat formula
mash action button to progress
who fucking cares - tier story

I might have been inclined to buy this game if it had done this right off the bat and cut out the bullshit with the loadouts (or at the very least, introduced a mode where you pick up all your weapons a la quake)

i love the multiplayer on PS4. its active and no one can shoot. i use hellshot/shotty/frag nade, ignore all hack module bullshit and just do laps around all the big pickups

best feeling fps controls on a console desu. switch your controls to "tactical" so u can jump/shoot at same time senpai

I actually think the biggest question mark will be the Rune Mechanic replacing the Hack Modules. If you can combine them and get buffed speed + air control for example, you'll get pretty close to having a damn solid FPS. Not Q3A levels of good, but totally playable and fun.
