How do I get back into new vegas? Is there something to fix the combat? Any good quest/ companion mods to recommend? I mainly use ones that make dlc or vanilla characters companions, like Marcus or Joshua.

The main reason for the Legion cuts was because the team didn't have enough time to implement everything, they only had like, a 1 year development cycle. Originally you were supposed to be able to cross the Colorado river and visit all of the Legion settlements and Ulysses was going to be the Legion companion

What kind of timetable were they on? I understand they were hard pressed for the main game, but the dlc came out at a metered rate. They only had 4 real dlc as opposed to fallout 3's 5. Did bethes just go like "okay you're done with LR, you're not touching this shit again"
