So, as a roller player, what does this new version of Splatoon offer me?

No, I'd be interested to see how they did it.

What it comes down to is this:
-I played a shitload of Splatoon 1, both turf war and the ranked mode when it came out (A+ thank you very much)
-I played the Splatoon 2 test fire and found it to be almost identical to Splatoon 1, so much so that I turned it off after about 45 minutes
-One of the few things I was interested in, playing matchmaking with friends, requires a full team

I'm sure the single player will be decent but the online isn't sufficiently different to justify buying the game at launch. Maybe if there's some huge game drought.
