It's top-down. but, it's kinda like an MRI scan in that it's built in layers and you're only viewing one at a time.

deforest the fuck out of the embark, let the elves bring their pitiful wagon, and slaughter them.

capture savage creatures and the elves too when they come. pit them to fight each other in an arena with spike traps and impulse ramp minecarts to dodge

Shit to do

I like mountainous worlds, but, tend to get very picky about embark location and spend most of my time finding just the right one.

Kinda wish there was a tool like Perfect World, but, for making just the right embark.

I'm not as picky as the other guys ITT it seems, but I generally like more savage and wooded areas with sandy soil as well, but will play anywhere that looks fun
