The Steam ones aren't actually made by the same devs, Natsume stole the trademark from the original devs and are making fake games under the name.

All new mainline Harvest Moon games go under the title "Story of Seasons", and the actual Harvest Moon games are budget Western ripoffs..

Well to be fair Harvest Moon (Rebooted series) is now a rip off of Harvest Moon (The original series now called Story of Seasons) because of the disagreement between Natsume and Marvelous Entertainment.

I still like Rune Factory more and long for a RF5.
