Depends on what game it is. If it's a tactical shooter like Stalker I bind C to toggle crouch and maybe ctrl to walk if there's an option for such.
If it's a game like Warframe where you're constantly moving around fast, rarely staying in one place for more than a few seconds, and probably sliding around I'll bind Ctrl to crouch
