I hate to be that guy who screams about graphics, but the graphics and art direction was unbelievable shitty and off putting. If anyone doesn't understand how a higher polygon count can end up being an uglier game, think of it as a transition from SOTN to CV64.

It felt like an adventure, akin to the original Crash Bandicoot game rather than throwing five unrelated levels at you and giving you a choice.

Never played crash as a kid but played the remake and liked them all but I thought 3 was kind of shitty.

The devs genuinely loved it. They loved it so much when they were getting rushed and undercut on the budget they wrote it into the story. I'd love to play a sequel to it or a sequel to the N. Sane Trilogy that takes notes from it.

Wrath of Cortex is worth emulating on Dolphin if you liked Crash 2/3 (though rough around the edges), and Twinsanity is a must-play.
