I enjoyed it. It's got a weird learning curve and a lot of people get sick of it pretty quick, but I thought it was a good thing to just pick up and play while traveling. You unlock like 60 new things if you finish a run and like 30 even if you fail one, so it ramps up pretty quick with regards to stuff you discover.

It does play pretty samey most of the time. The bosses are pretty fun though.

4th for me. I actually wasted money on 1+2 Switch thinking it would be fun for parties, that shit got boring within 15 minutes

There are no serious shooting games on consoles. Splatoon is at least a step in the right direction compared to other console shooters despite being made to be approachable by a wider audience. It has faster aiming and movement speed while also not having a need for aim assist like other console games. Hopefully PS4 developers will go in the same direction and drop analog as the only input method.

This was because the game doesn't properly support them and the console version was balanced around people not being able to aim. It is like beating disabled people in sports and bragging about it rather than playing with other able bodied people (PC). Consoles have actually been capable of using a real mouse for a while, but no developers make use of it to avoid having to split their player base. I would be ok with that as an option too, but gyro seems more likely since it would not affect the ability to play comfortably on a TV.
