Since most vidya compagnies proved times and times again that they simply can't optimize their games to run at 60fps on consoles, what's the next step in video games innovation ? Did we reach the peak of what was possible for video games that isn't VR ? Are vidyas gonna stay at this level of "interactive movies" until the industry crashes again ? I'm scared /v/

Yeah, there is totally gonna be another crash because devs can't optimize 2017 games to run with 60 fps on 2012 hardware. I guess videogames are over now. I'm gonna go read a book or something.

Also Ps4 pro is recent and it still won't run Destiny 2 at 60fps. What's the excuse for that ?
