why is this game so boring?

haven't played through the all the endings so can't really say about the story - so far it's some generic anime 2deep4u horseshit for youngsters,
but the gameplay part is what's really killing me

the forced sidescrolling/top down parts just plain suck, who the fuck though it was a good idea to constantly shift the player's perspective for the sake of wasting his time with mindless filler off-genre shit...
combat is hot garbage, i feel like i have no control over the character, they do flashy moves while im just sitting there spamming a button, feels almost like that one batman game
and if at rare occasions something remotely threatening shows up on the screen, i can just infinite chain-dodge out of all harm with no effort

the environments are nice but the absurd amount of invisible walls and general "emptiness" kills the fun of exploring

the music is passable, some lame tracks here and never but the ambient ones are pretty good
