Dashing options make the combat more fun. Devs did well trying to take it a step further than the tired musou formula.

Notice how the senrans start in a school uniform and most of their transformed outfits still retain their modesty (most of them, at least).
Meanwhile, in vd you have twin sisters running around in thongs from the start and pic related who dresses and acts like a high class prostitute.
There's way more lingerie, which you unlock by playing the game, rather than gambling for it at the store, though you can do that too.
Outfits are fewer than in SK, but lewder.

the combat feels much stiffer than senran. everyone said it's supposed to be a lot better though so am I just doing something wrong? having to hold and release the dash button is a lot harder than just mashing it when you want to go fast.
