It's fun. Warlock and titans got tons of love. Both classes got significant changes and the best exotics.

Hunter got the shaft, hard.

Story looks like, well, a actual fucking story so that's nice. Strike was fun, but the last boss was a bit spongy (which might make sense because the LL for it was the exact same as your LL). 3 phases for a strike boss was fun.

This so much. Couple friends and I rented a few copies at launch, played it for two days, ran out of new shit to do and never looked back.
Saved a lot of money and got the full experience (at the time).
I was going to buy the complete edition on sale once but found out they never put the final expansion out on PS3/360.
Bet those people were pissed after they dumped a c-note into the game and never got the finale.

just to show how shitty the devs were for destiny1, i don't have a game anymore. i didnt buy the dlc cause i hate the whole concept of it. i already dropped 60 bucks on this shit, why pay more for a bunch of garbage. actually felt proud when i got to light lvl 32 through iron banner only, then they updated and made it impossible for me to do anything. instead of making the dlc a way to buy more of the game that was empty to begin with, they used it to lock away parts of the game from people who bought the original. and then came the updated version where if you buy the game after a year or so you automatically start at lvl 25. You can download the beta if you make an hk psn account. There isn't much to do in the beta though and it just feels like a more sluggish destiny 1. Movement is slower, enemies seem to have more health, grenade/abilities are on long as fuck cooldowns. They nerfed any fun there was out of it.

Too me it seems Hunter's kinda got fucked. Warlocks get a Buff field, Titans get a wall both great for raids and team fights. Hunters get a spin and insta reload. Now I know Hunters are meant to be the solo DPS class but this makes them totally redundant in a raid. Anything a Hunter Can do the others can do better? Hunter with golden gun? fuck that sub him out for a warlock Solar spec get a better super and the regen. Arcstrider? hell no take the striker who can do more for your team and the wall.
Im fine with Hunters being the PvP class but they aint viable in it. maybe changing up the Class ability will help.

Bought the key for the early beta on kinguin for 67 cents. I think I won't preorder this shit. It's destiny 1 all over again. Hype at beta and content for two (2) sessions. it's clear that Warlocks and Titan are going to be the best comps for PVE content. People are most likely just going to stack Warlocks. Exotics are the only thing that are really going to make Hunters relevant (hopefully) but that's assuming the other classes don't get crazy OP exotics as well (which they will).

If the PVP is moving towards being more weapon focused and not ability spam than i could see Hunters being king there.

also I am really wondering how sniper rifles are going to work, I haven't got one to drop yet but with the apparent drop rate for heavy I think they might end up useless. I spent most of my time doing raids and I can't imagine what they could do to balance this out except "gating" boss health so that you can only do a certain amount of damage before he rotates or teleports or add waves or something. Also aiming and shooting feels off somehow, like its a bit less intuitive like they fucked with the auto aim too much.

Also holy shit are fusion rifles shit in crucible jesus christ, I hit someone from medium range and it didn't even kill, so we keep the special weapon tier damage and have to sacrifice a heavy slot to use it. Especially when grenade launchers allow for splash damage around corners.

Snipers basically broke the original, there was literally no reason to use anything else in PVE. Bungie's way of balancing is to just make it unusable, so there you go.

Fusion rifles were never good in the first place, but for some reason they nerf them more and more every time. Only masochists dare use them now.

Vex Holocaust fucking broke the crucible. Because of this one fucking gun, Bungo nerfed the ever living fuck outta fusion rifles. Before this fusion rifles were at least usable. I used Praetorian Foil frequently in VoG at launch. And when people started using Pocket Infinity, Bungo put the final nail in the coffin and killed the spread/range on fusion rifles.

This Beta has not convinced me to buy or cancel my preorder. I got what I expected with this Beta, but it looks like I am going to wait for reviews of the full game before I make the actual purchase.

It's Destiny 1 with some major updates. Gameplay is more or less the same, pvp has been slightly scaled back, bosses will continue to be health sponges, and crucible will continue to be a lagfest. I pre-ordered it because I enjoyed Destiny and Destiny 2 is basically the same thing.

I would not buy Destiny 2 but I would play it if somebody gifted it to me.
