I really think every 3D mario improved over the last
but now the question is will Odyssey be better than Galaxy 2? that's a tough bar to pass

It has a fully-controllable camera, so that puts it ahead of most 3D Mario games.

The most enjoyable Mario to run around with, in a very mixed bag of levels.

I think with long jumps and the addition of diving hat-bounces Odyssey's movement will probably surpass it though.

The hover mechanic was great but the rest of fludd was forgettable.

Do you know that the developers of Splatoon only remembered Super Mario Sunshine had fludd / paint-based game mechanics after the game was released?
