Most of the game's charm is the aesthetics, which I'd describe as the sum of the colorful cast of characters in each chapter, the humor, the audience experience in combat adding a meta-layer to the fights, and of the non-standard mission structure and sets, including Glitz Pits and the train.

If you're still not enjoying yourself after all that, you probably should put the game down, you missed the point.

That's what an RPG is. In fact it has more action than a turn-based RPG given the action commands. Stick to action RPGs or action adventure games if you don't want talking.
