You will never be here again.
>the cata world has now been around longer than the vanilla world was

Good. This fucking pig people are assholes always running away and healing themselves and then coming back with 3 more pig people to fuck you up.

HORDE A SHIT
>>384385589
I hate how right you are
I prefer the Blood Elf starting zone
>>384386191
I hate it too, the vanilla world, even if it is small the vanilla world felt explorable.
Every part of the Cata Zones are strung along and feel like each part of the zone is tailored to fit a story.
>>384384073
Horde zones a shit, the alliance zones were a lot more comfy

Why is the MMO genre dying?
>>384388552
catering to combat and execution instead of preparedness, coordination, and gathering
also raiding as an end-game focus means you dont really have time to do anything else
>>384388552
original target audience grew out of it and noone took their place
>>384384073
WRONG!

Here's main reasons
>lack of in-game player management and economy
>"You're the Main Hero" kills all immersion in any fucking MMO, and ALL MMOs do it now, even WoW thought this was a good idea
>Lack of Content that could easily be fixed by forcing the player to work for their gear instead of "muh emblems" or "hero points" and implement things such as challenging chain quests, multiple tier groups, and use of gold to achieve such a status. REQUIRING THE PLAYER TO MAKE THEM FEEL ACCOMPLISHED
>Last one, They need to create a stance that allows all players feel good. Not all players have to be raiders, but if they feel achieved enough, they could do a raid here and there. Not every player should have the same gear as the other, gear should be a priveledge, not a fucking right.
>No Rape and Assault - No Crime Systems
>Games removed Open World PvP to an extent that is disgusting. No more major skirmishes in Mid-Level Zones, just bullshit
Hopefully Albion Online isn't bullshit.

MMOs sparked out of the early-ish internet, when the shear concept of playing something with people far away was still a draw in and of itself
Now that the internet has become so standard, it just doesn't have the appeal it used to

>buy-to-play game with a subscription and in-game cash shop
yeah, it's going to be great.
