I skipped Tri, but I've enjoyed fighting the monsters that came from that one.

My issue with first generation monsters is more with their lack of updates than their presence in general. All the first generation monsters are the same chicken skeleton with a tail whip, charge, roar, and breath attack. Compare this with a new chicken skeleton like Astalos. Astalos is wild and complex and has a ton of interesting, unique moves that are exciting and fun to fight against.

Rath either needs to go completely or receive a massive overhaul. It feels completely outclassed in a game where it's supposed to be the king of the monsters.

They need to stop it with the monsters that always return. Like, every monster hunter game it's always rathalos rathian deviljho zinogre brachydios rajang tigrex. Like holy fuck, just stop. I have 3 or 4 other games if I want to hunt them, just make new monsters instead.

I want an SMT themed MonHun, or one where you hunt Mythical creatures.

Can't wait to get comfy next year. No more breaking my neck looking at my 3DS whilst playing MH for hours.

I was kind of on the fence with the whole changing equipment in camps, but nobody is really going to be changing anyway unless they allow for endless hunts (no timer) and monsters continue to enter the map, a bit like Moga Woods but online. Then it would actually be great.

Guess it's just the way I play. If you play in bed you'll be raising your arms up right, then they get tired instead?

You can't play it in a chair otherwise you're looking down, unless it's a recliner or a couch, then it's not too bad and where I play most my hunts.

It can be a bit awkward, and I usually don't do it for harder hunts, but it helps me relax, especially when I'm just gathering.
If breaking your neck really worries you that much, just get one of those neck pillows, I guess.

I wish there was a N3DS to HDMI cable or something, I hear you have to do some custom wiring etc to a capture card to be able to do it and I'm not that tech savvy.

Nah, never got round to hacking my 3DS. Monster Hunter is the only games I own for it, and not many other games interest me anyway.

If your 3DS is on 11.2, there's really no reason for you not to hack it, considering how easy it is. Even someone that sucks when it comes to tech stuff like me managed to do it. I installed a bunch of GBA games onto mine.
