I have heard Final Fantasy VI is the best one... Is this true? It's cheap as fuck on PSOne classics right now, is there any reason to not play the PSX version? I need your help /v/

Is it true it's full of CGI cutscenes that were added in just for the PSX version? Also is it as good as everyone says? I have only ever finished VII and XII if that helps. Main character looks interesting... But i have always been dissapointed by game narratives before the PSX era... It always felt like they didn't try as hard as FF VII did with story but maybe i just played shit early gen RPG's.
