Squad is a game that is idolized by it's players out of necessity. It offers a gameplay experience that while not unique scratches an incredibly specific itch for a very small amount of people. It's truly unfortunate that that group of people is so starved for itch-scratchers that they will blindly and zelously defend any negative feature of their game to the death, even going as far as to shit on other game communities because they don't want to play Squad.

As a result while the game is fine, it's another case of it's fanbase alienating new players and generally just making absolute tools of themselves. So no one really respects or enjoys their company, and as a result if you insist that you enjoy squad in any manner you'll just be ignored or given a cheeky laugh at best. Squad players got exactly what they wanted, people to discuss their game which game them potential to grow. The only problem is the only discussion is people shitting on their game and community.
