Low-spec makes your game look bad and limits what kind of games you can make. Naturally most will prefer the strongest platforms.

its the new console on the block. So it still needs to move units and then the supply shortage also working against that just makes everything else a safer bet to put your game on since more people own those consoles instead.

As of now at least shit aint really any sort of personally and just simply businessmen in that people want to get the most out of their work with the least amount of work ,since porting takes time and money and what not, even if they were to decide to make their game multi plat.

So unless it were to need switch spefic hardware/gimmicks to get what they want to happen in their game done. There really is no other reason to make much shit for it aside from getting experience with it as the install base grows in which then one would use said experience to then make decent shit for it.

With swill like Mass Effect 3 Wii U, why would we? No extended ending, third game in a trilogy whose first two games never even hit Nintendo platforms, and cost a full $60 a year later when 360 and PS3 were getting entire trilogy on one disc with all DLC included for $20.

Switch doesn't have a large enough install base yet, it's doing pretty good for its first year but it will take more units sold to convince at least the AA people to switch their prejudice for nintendo(see WiiU's launch). As for weebshit the vita still has some life in it so companies are gonna run that liscence to death, plus ninty is way stricter on lewd stuff.

Make a stronger console, expand install base dramatically (outselling the PS4 in one region for 3 months is not impressive especially this late, even Xbone managed to outpace PS4 for a few months), make porting easy, so that the games are at least on the system. Guarantee you those games still won't sell. Just think about it objectively. You would be more inclined to get a 3rd party game on Nintendo's console if it ran better there, or if it's your only console. Otherwise, why bother?

Nintendo will only be known for 1st party until they can compete and provide a stronger console.

I can't remember where it was from but an anon once quoted some 3rd party dev saying that they are dwarfed by Nintendo's first party software and they have to carefully skirt around their releases, as whenever one of Nintendo's big games come out, it just devours sales from everything else. What they meant to say though was that their games are shit and can't compete with what Nintendo produces.
