The group I'm in has done one set of back-to-back runs of Omega normal and that's it. We had to PUG two tanks and one of the DPS is almost certainly a tranny or is extremely gay. Pro-tip tankbusters aren't the only damage spikes in the game. Cleaves and shit hurt a hell of a lot too and if you're out of your tank stance (as you fucking should be) you'll have your tankbuster CD rotation on lockdown and should be planning around non-tankbuster damage spikes, of which there's already a few in SB. Susano-o has 3 in phase 1, Deltascape 1 has them constantly, 2 has them semi-frequently and 4 has insane 19K auto-attack crits. TBN is amazing because of the short CD, which allows you to apply it for a myriad other things, not just tankbusters.

The way FFXIV handles gear meshes is retarded: For every piece of armor they have to create a male/female mesh for each race. They start with the Midlander Hyur meshes and tween them for the other race/genders, but they're stored separately and that means right now there are 14 meshes for every single one of the thousands of pieces of armor that exist in the game. Adding Viera means that not only do they have to increase the number of meshes from 14>16 for all new gear, they have to go back and make two new meshes for all the gear that existed prior.
Depending on how they handle Viera, and how lazy they're feeling, they can probably port across many of the elezen meshes, but that's still a fuckton of work and the required manhours are a huge disincentive to adding further races- regardless of what profit could be made in peddling fantasias.
