Low, Nintendo doesn't give pot bonuses. I think a representative said that it's basically putting the vast majority of that money right into the pockets of a guaranteed select few people like Armada and Zero, while helping cover stuff like venue fees (which they do with Genesis's Sunday theater) provides a better tournament experience for everyone regardless of how they place. Problem with Cloud and Bayo is not only that they are too strong right now. It's that they have an extremely low skill cap, requiring almost no basics like spacing nor advanced knowledge of your opponent or of the game. And low skill cap + top tier character means that you can litteraly let them carry you, even at a non competitive level of play, and get crazy good results.

Oh and for some reasons, while they can still struggle against the other top tiers (though that is very debatable) veterans, they have extremely positive matchups against 80% of the high to mid tier characters destroying them even more than Sheik and Diddy did. Their sole presence (and the fact that they're SO easy to play with) makes the game much more unbalanced than it originally was.

Cloud is fine in singles, his recovery is extremely exploitable and he has more than enough losing matchups. He's only really bad for the meta in doubles.

Bayo is not easy to pick up, her neutral is bad, but honestly could see a few more nerfs. It's fine that he punish game is extremely good (it's the basic idea behind her character, she's much like DK and ZSS that way), but that means her neutral should be even worse than it is.

I disagree a bit. First, her neutral is not THAT bad and still, it's not a real problem because like you said she is not very dependant of it (unlike some other punish heavy character who still need to get the advantage in the neutral first). She can count on a strong punish game letting her get a 20 to 40% (or even a kill) combo with almost no execution needed, and very hard to SDI for your opponent, off a single mistake or read. Also witch time is probably the most broken counter ever created, letting you kill your opponent if you witch timed a single jab. Add to that an absurd hitbox on her upb (and the fzct that it always push the opponent outside of the stage when it's used offstage) and give her the possibility to do 2 of it just for the fun, and you also get a character almost impossible to edgeguard.

And I would be curious to know what are your opinion on Cloud's bad matchups ?
This guy has insane range, a limit, decent frame data, a very good speed on the floor, great mobility in the air with the limit, he can litteraly charge for a better recovery, deals tons of shieldstun, great autocancel windows, and some of the best edgeguarders like villager have terrible matchups against him... And worse he's extremely easy to pick up. He's only weakness he's that he's extremely straightforward in his approach making every Cloud play the same.

What the thunderfuck is a monkey flip? If it's terrible, why use it in the first place?

Corrin is actually as brain dead as cloud. Insta-pin is a move that 80% of the cast has no answer to. The combos are super easy. Her sword is 2nd or 3rd longest. Dragon fang kills at 50%. Nair basically has no lag and has a vortex effect . Pin covers almost every ledge option. The up air hit box is huge. Corrin has a -1 MU on cloud. The only reason she isn't good is because fox and sheik invalidates as a character. She is slowly rising in the meta with MKLeo picking her up. Also the 2nd strongest counter.
