manhunt thread

This game was alright. Too bad it became a shooter near the end, and a shitty shooter at that.

I played it a long ass time ago and just remember it had cool stealth executions with various weapons and a camera watches you at all times. I believe the final boss was a pig thing with a chainsaw or something like that.

I grabbed it for PS4 recently but the fucking camera is atrocious.

Op here. i have it for pc and i find no issues with the camera. It was an older game and the first of the series so if they ever do make a third game they might resolve that issue and many more.

a little note about the pc version.
you will need a patch because you cant go through the first gate if you have windows 7 or higher. i will try and find a link for the patch if you are considering on downloading it. i bought it on steam when it was on sale and i know it works with that. im pretty sure it will work with a pirated version aswell.

the artstyle of the game is so ahead of it's prime time it's just sad that it's dead forever.

it was a underrated rockstar game. baka it should have blown up like gta. but then the fags would gain access to it and ruin it. manhunt has a special place in video game history and hopefully one day it can be revived for a 3rd installment. rest in peace manhunt 2003-2007

Too bad the chainsaw is unlocked at the very end of the game. Bonus level sucks, I couldn't have enough fun to do it.

What Manhunt lacked was a modding community to provide custom maps and scenarios.

And I'm still pissed off Rockstar did not allow late GTA Online players to unlock the Smiley Hockey mask. Also no possibility of having James Earl Cash as a relative like John Marston ? Fuck this.

Piggsy still scares the shit out of me. Manhunt isn't even that hard of a game but its whole aesthetic and atmosphere just strikes the right chords to make me shit my pants. I don't even know what it is, it's just terrifying.
