It's one thing if an enemy takes multiple tries to kill.
It's another if every time you fail you lose hours of progress and need to do a bunch of busywork.

This is only a problem in some parts of the souls series though.

In this thread we list things Dark Souls 2 did that were far better than Dark Souls 3. I'll start:
