I legit liked this game. It was sad to see it being bombarded by DS fans, basically complaining that it wasn't DS.

I like it too. I played it before I played any of the DS games, so this was my exposure to that kind of game. I went and plat'd DS1 then went back to this and you can see the inspiration and the short-comings. Honestly, they should have just scrapped the magic system all together and cut back on the useless weapon count. Still though, I do love it. It had a certain charm to it that I found the DS games lacked. I mean, no doubt they are much better designed products than this, but I would honestly play this over DS again.
