Bayonetta is a witch and reinforces herself with magic, Samus is half-alien and wears power armor, at least multiple instances of demons, demi-gods or possessed by thereof, while some are just exceptionally skilled in forms of combat where technique can greatly compensate for lack of raw power, and some are just power fantasies where the woman has more muscle mass than 99% of men do IRL.
