I've only played New Leaf, are the other games as good?

Yes, wild World,, but you wont appreciate it if you started with New Leaf.

I've played every AC game starting with the GCN original.

New Leaf is probably the best out at the moment, mainly because City Folk is garbage and the original is barebones. Wild World is probably my favorite in the series and one of my favorite DS games ever. HHD loses it's fun after 20 hours, yet I have thousands in WW/NL and they don't feel bad.

ACGC is the best game in the series, because it has the best atmosphere in a series that is ALL about atmosphere.

This, but the qol ui/menus and everything is atrocious compared to the newer games, making it hard to play the series in reverse. I hope a switch game goes back to this comfiness but I know it'll just be HD new leaf crammed with more cheesy features.

New AC on Switch when? Perfect platform for it, bring back multiple characters in one town, two player at the same time with two joycons. Like NL online, but local.

I can't believe people keep wasting their time with this shit. Nothing ever happens, the game is completely static. Like a rock.
