Who?
>>384324782
How is gtx965?
>>384324782
>wanting a laptop with a 1070
>not just getting one with a weaker card and actually have a battery that will last longer than 20 minutes
>>384324938
Not adequate. And i don't own it either.
>>384324948
Need it for work. Graphics programming among other shit.
Need it in a laptop formfactor aswell.
Also i live in scandinavia so everything costs AUTISTIC amounts of money.
>>384325252
What's wrong with it, besides battery of course?
>>384325390
Need it to run modern games at 120hz.
>P-PC Master race right?
>Paying more double the cost of a console plus peripherals for marginally better performance
It's just not worth it anymore man.
>>384325601
>consolefags in charge of reading
>>384324116
You can thank the btc miner for that. They're slowly buying all the gpu supplies progressively upward. Soon the 1080s are next.
Etherium and bitcoin crashed and GPU's are flooding the second-hand market, prices will stabilzine in a month ormso
I have a MSI AMD Radeon HD 7800 but after 4-5 years I'm looking to build and upgrade sometime soon. Where do I go from here?
>>384324930
Tyrone
>tfw caved in and will buy a 1070 next week when my paycheck is off hold period
>too impatient to wait, but still feeling awful for forking over that much raw dosh
I waited over a decade to start building this god damn PC and by hell I'll finish building it. Anyone got any cheap leaf prices or good USA deals that wouldn't be too expensive to mail over to vancouver?
>>384328423
It'd be cheaper to go with a 1080.
>>384327826
Keep dreaming, m8. It's not over yet.
>Anything below a 1060 isn't a worthwhile upgrade to my 660 Ti
>1060s are all around $700
>1080s are all minimum $1000, usually around $1200
>This is before exorbitant shipping prices for electronics
Fuck this gay country.
>>384328649
1080s are going for a starting minimum of $723 for models with barely any reviews on pcpartpicker while the cheapest trusty 1070 starts at 588. It's not much of a jump, but it's still overpaying for what I'm aiming for: at least 5 years of 1080p 60fps on max settings, then many more with 720p 60fps
>>384327946
Nowhere GPU prices are a total scam now because of miners.
You wait for Vega or a cheap 1070 GTX.
Shit I payed 400€ for my 1070 GTX
Whats the card with the best value that can do 1080p 144? My new monitor is great but my R9 380 is showing its age/actual performance.
>>384327946
Nigger literally anything would be stronger at this point, at half the TDP.
You dun goofed, the current mining bubble has to burst before the prices start coming back to normal.
Even a GTX1060 or RX580 would feel like million miles.
Just wait a few months?
>>384328995
I feel you. I'm also stuck with a 660 Ti. At least it still plays xiv at a decent fps.
>>384328995
I too hate Canada
1100 series when?
>GPU prices defy supply and demand principles
it's time to stop
>>384330059
>canada
>those prices
you what
>>384327946
I have a similar card and am in a similar situation. But today I played Titanfall with high graphics and all solid 60 fps so I'm not too worried about upgrading soon.
>>384328995
What 8th world shit hole do you live in?
>>384330479
Take a guess mate.
>>384330624
Cambodia.
>tfw upgrading my decade old hardware to 5 year old hardware for fairly cheap
>800 for a graphics card
Are you all high? My price range is $250-300. If I'm dropping $800 I'd rather quit pc gaming, buy a new turntable and audio gear so I can listen to my records, buy new kitchen equipment because I like cooking, buy a television package with HD quality AND a fucking PS4 with some games for less.
its okay, crypto is dying and the prices will come back down
