Atmosphere and characters are great, so is the immersion. By the middle of the game I cared about them more than I ever cared about any other video game character.
The gameplay is... okay, I guess. If you only care about getting a good shooter, skip it. If you are interested in a great story and overall cinematic experience (in a good way), then it's definitely worth playing.

Solid tps gameplay, story is very well done, unique multiplayer mode(somewhat active on ps4). I'd recommend it. My only major complaint is that the puzzles the game occasionally throws at you are fairly brain dead, and can be reduced down to moving some object so you can climb..
