Crimson Skies was the first game they revealed. Will they do it for every game? Probably not. But for games like Halo 2 where its servers shutting down literally went down as a legend in the community I'd say the bigger titles will get back up.

Mechassault 2 Multiplayer was awesome as fuck

The CTF mode was fucking intense. You had to be on foot to cap it, buildings collapsing around when stomped nearby, VTOL dropping on the Flag, motherfucking Uziel and Cougars

It's not perfect, but it is an incredibly unique game that really doesn't feel like anything else out there. It's not for everyone, but it's a singular enough experience that I think it deserves to be played by more people

I played it on LAN with others and MAN those were fucking fun nights back then.

Then we swapped to Unreal Championship 2 and Halo 2 MP.

The laughs and good times with friends playing shoulder to shoulder for the great prize of the night being some snacks was the shit. You can't have that in online only modes.

I'm getting nostalgic actually. I miss that carefree time back in the day.

I know exactly what you mean man. I remember weekends of just endless Dominos pizzas, chips, pretzels, soda. We'd play Mechassault, Sonic Heroes, Halo, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, PSO, Fuzion Frenzy, all that fun stuff. Split screening is just a relic of the past, something that was common before everyone had access to fast internet speeds and global networks. I miss it to man. The Xbox really had a great, varied multiplayer library and that's what made it so unique and memorable for me.

Hmm.. I tried playing it for the first time last week and felt dizzy as hell from doing the flips all of the place. The gun action is nice but bullets are scares especially in the beginning. The game is pretty hard and I died way too many times. I stopped somewhere after the desert illusion section in the first level. I like the immersion but does the story get any better. It's a 7/10 in my book. May be if I get good at adjusting to first person gameplay I might enjoy it more.

Breakdown is one of my favorite games of all time. You upgrade your powers throughout the game, and you stop using guns as often when marines start being less common enemies. There's some time travel shenanigans but I won't spoil much, and the (not so) final boss is a great 1v1 fight.
