Why is nobody hyped for this game?
There were consistent threads for a majority of last month.
Without much else to go on the discussion falls flat.
Do you like how they turned the gameplay into a more simplified SMT / Pokemon stylized game instead of the deep and intricate arts they had for Xenoblade X?
I think streamlining the combat is a good idea to get the game to appeal to a wider audience while still keeping combos as an essential battle mechanic for style points and extra damage.
I also think that exploring multiple animals will be cool if they keep them all thematically different like how they did with Xenoblade X's different continents and Xenoblade's varied locations on the Bionis and Mechonis.
The soundtrack is also bound to be the magnum opus of the composer's, Mitsuda.
Lack of new info, but maybe it's better that way, since there was way too much stuff being revealed in the months leading to XCX.

Oh yeah, and I'm interested in seeing how they'll make use of the cast since it's much smaller than Xenoblade X's cast meaning that should bring development to the side characters this time too, similar to the first Xenoblade.
I liked the character variety of X, but it's pretty clear that Takahashi ran out of time because of focusing too much on learning to develop for HD that only the 2 main heroines really had any development (as they were mandatory for most story fights).

Well I think they might've had to make those tutorial videos because most people jumping into the game would likely have ignored the in-game manual which does also contain everything you need to know before deep diving into the game.

It's streamlined but the options still exist by tying 4 moves to each Blade. You still end up with the same amount of moves and even more customization. I do like that.
What I really want to see is them exploring that hinted at "resource war" theme, since Titans apparently are all the resources that exist besides the "paradise of elysium". Titans also have been dying in the timeline of the game.

Yeah, the story elements should prove pretty interesting this time around as opposed to being "stuck on a mysterious planet" that X was going for.
