You see Arno and Altair are the only 2 assassins in the series where their backstories are not based around rebuilding an assassins brotherhood in their area. The others always seem to find out their brotherhoods were destroyed (Connor&Ezio) so essentially they did their own things or they didn't give a fuck about the assassins and did their own thing (Edward&Jacob). Arno and Altair were still kinda like underlings within their creeds.

Hasn't really moved much at all in the main games. Dumb sage hunting in Unity, then in Syndicate Templars are looking for the Shroud, a piece of eden that can regenerate cells n shit. They hope to build a first civ body from scratch so that they can relieve first civ memories.

Apparently they shifted the current plot to comics too, meaning the actual first civ body recovery plot will be finished in the comics. They will probably start a new kind of story with Origins.

But all in all you didn't miss too much stuff and honestly it's all retarded anyway so I wouldn't bother caring about the plot anyway. It's like a kid's fanfiction at this point.

The problem wasn't with the character but rather the need to keep the plot moving. Edward's motivation all along was money, he just tought he could get rich with the Observatory. But everyone else was right and the plan was too farfetched. Yet somehow he kept that objective for years, with money as his motivation, despite pressure to stop.
They should have just mentioned that there's a huge pile of good on the Observatory too, so Edward's scheme didn't need to involve stealing the blood of kings, then blackmailing them over their ptivate lives.

Brotherhood and Revelations are pretty much just expansions for 2 and add next to nothing of note.

Honestly, it just needs to drop the collectable amount by half, make it so you don't have to rerun the exact same co-op mission three times for all the items, and add Hidden Blade on demand so you can run around like Wolverine and it would be fine. If you didn't notice Unity was basically supposed to be AC2 2.0 and they decided to do a major revamp. Stealth was revamped, fighting was revamped especially with counters, and the parkour was revamped. I hated it at first but you soon learn it's amazing for climbing both up and down and you don't end up doing that "How in the hell do I climb up on this tiny ledge" dance the previous games had. Hell, descending downward and having Arno spin and stuff felt great.

They are also locked behind the story. You can't unlock tons of them until you pass like sequence 8 I think it was and sequence 15. The point of it was to force you to do the co-op stuff since most of the points for them are hidden behind it.

You do need to grind money if you want any of the high end gear. If you have all the club stuff maxed out you can maybe afford one piece by the end of the game.

I really want another Assassin recruitment system like Brotherhood introduced. Having them join and sending them off to different parts of the world was so cool imo.
Also I'm glad Bayek's default color scheme is white again. I don't mind the black and blues, but I think the assassins should stay white.
