You shouldn't expect that many thank you when you're a healer. It's a nice feeling don't get me wrong but that's what your class is all about, healing people. If anything, the thank you is more or less a tip.

What does deserve a thank you though is when a class that isn't a healer manages to heal you in a way. For example, a heavy tossed you a sandvich or someone letting you get the health pack first.
