It's alright on its own merit. Not so much when compared to the other games in the series, but for 20 bucks it's not bad.
The beginning is pretty slow though and kinda unbearable at first though.

It's mainly a prologue for the second and third Coldsteels. The first one is slow and boring, but does pick up after you get out of the fucking plains.

CS2 is fucking fantastic though. Definitely worth it.

excellent world building and characters has a slow burn storyline. Combat is schlock at best. Always buff speed, and you'll beat anything

It's a massive step-down from the Sky trilogy. The fanbase is also more cancerous than the Dark Souls community.
