The difference is that Ghost is, overall, judging as a whole series, irredimable trash. So much, Takeru has been degraded to "Kamen Rider's Kenny", every time he shows up he dies, and last time Ex-Aid had to CPR him back to life.

Blade is pretty popular, Hibiki half-1 is a lot like a Showa tokusatsu, since it was based on notes written by Ishinomori, but the second half is a jarring retool that forces the shows to become a modern Rider.

I didn't enjoy Ghost (it was genuinely a bad show) and Ex-Aid, despite so many singing its praises, doesn't seem to grasp me like it does others.

I haven't followed Kamen Rider since Drive and its films. I really love Drive. I like Rider shows where being a Kamen Rider as a concept is meaningful and has actual relevance in the show. W was good about this too, despite some missteps late-game.

First dozen episodes aren't really that great, it seems like once Shou and Kotaro finally got their introductions it figured out what it wanted to do. They're still having trouble fleshing out characters though, Hammy is still just a cute girl ninja, Spada is still the Italian chef who can't stop talking about food, Raptor basically doesn't exist, and Garu just mopes around.

It's gotten much better though, they also toned down on Lucky heavily thankfully so he's more tolerable.

I watch it for Kotaro, Champ, Naga, Balance, Dragon Dad, Raptor (When she actually does fun stuff), Hammy (Mainly because she's cute), and Octothong myself.

Plus I have a bunch of hope it'll keep improving since I'd love to see it become great and see how they balance the 12 characters they have now in regards to having personal stories that help others build off of each other and enhance my experience with that character as well. We've already had the Garu insecurity episode (Even though it would have made much more sense for Raptor), Lucky getting his luck destroyed, the entire Champ/Stinger stuff, and Kotaro has built off great off the others which surprised me a ton.

Why is Kuuga considered good? There was barely any info on the bad guys and way too much focus on the police.

Even Faiz was better.

Because it's a slow burn type of show that focuses on the characters, especially Ichijou and Yusuke, while also making the police force actually competent to the point that they create weapons that can actually destroy their foes. The stories are nice, the progression is nice, the characters are lovable, they even made a joke side character like Jean have a love story and he was both smart and comedic relief, and the fights (Especially the bike stuff) is fantastic.
