Do you miss videogame magazines/demos?

I wish I had more issues of Nintendo Power and EGM around, are there any good transfers of them available?

they were magical for a time where we didn't have online consoles
but there's no use for them now
i don't even download playable demos for my ps4 anymore
i just watch gameplay on youtube and decide after 10-20 mins if i wanna buy it or not

yes sure, as long as the writers had a distinct reviewing or writing style or were cool and funny

i've often bought games because I've seen them reviewed in a magazine, even if they were reviewed as mediocre as long as they looked interesting I'd buy them

Yes, journalists were passionate and loved video games plus you basically had mini E3 every time new issue came out.

Yeah I miss Nintendo power. Used to sub back when I had OG DS pre 3ds days. Even if there were games I'd never own I liked reading about them anyways. The journalism back then was pretty good in those old game magazines. Also, the number ratings the games had back then made more sense. Nowadays if you see some youtuber give a game a 6/10 people think its garbage.
