This is stupid meme, when they announced it - it wasn't even in development. Lately they've been posting lot of jobs opportunities and they began real production after they were done with Witcher 3.

Witcher 3 took something around 4 years, my guess is that Cyberpunk 2077 will be out by 2020.

I wanna sit in an old, busted car in some empty parking lot at night as it rains as a Media character, typing up a news report with only the soft sound of news on the radio breaking up the steady thump of rain.

As long as they're not bound by shitty Sapkowski ideas they write the best stories around.
